Construction Kick-start in Alicante Province

Compared to the first Quarter of 2015 the Alicante Provincial Collage of Architects have received a 50% increase for building applications. To date applications have been received to construct around 1850 homes on 279,019 square meters of land. It is estimated that by the years end approximately 7,400 applications will be submitted, a marked improvement on recent years but still far short of the ideal annual figure of 15,000 housing project approvals. Reflecting on the 2006 the peak, and height if the building boom when 46,000 licences were approved the President of the Collage of Architects,welcomed the data, but warned that we we must not forget past mistakes which if repeated would cause future problems.
