A Simple Spanish Recipe: Baby Broad Beans with Pancheta and Chorizo. Delicious!
Ingredients:
500 gr. frozen or fresh baby broad beans
2 large cloves garlic finely sliced
2 fresh chorizo sausages
150 gr pancheta
1.5 table spoons of olive oil
Sweet paprika to taste
Spicy paprika to taste
Salt to taste
Method:
Cut the chorizo and pancheta into bean sized cubes and fry them together for 3 to 4 minutes in the olive oil until the chorizo gives up some of its colour. Add sliced garlic and continue to cook for a further 1 to 2 minutes then stir in the beans (which you can cook from frozen), move and coat the beans with the oil until cooked approximately a further 5 minutes, season with the salt and paprika. Serve this tasty treat with a fresh, crusty baguette which you can enjoy dipped into the beautiful oil.
