San Miguel de Salinas

San Miguel de Salinas is a delightful village full of charm and character, situated in an elevated position a few kilometres inland from the coast, it and the surrounding area benefiting from some fabulous views over the Torrevieja salt lakes and to the coast beyond. With a healthy mix of native Spaniards and foreign residents San Miguel makes for an ideal place to settle into the relaxed Spanish way of life. There is every amenity, supermarkets, all manner of shops, some excellent restaurants, bars, cafes, a good social scene and a large, well supported weekly street market selling a whole variety of products including locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. The beaches of Torrevieja and Punta Prima are only a 10-minute drive and with its own access to the AP7 motorway Murcia San Javier airport can be reached in 20 minutes and Alicante airport in 40 minutes. La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre only 15 minutes by car.
