Costa Blanca in Bloom

The cooler than average and wet months of December and January have resulted in large areas of the countryside being covered in a spectacular profusion of pink and white almond blossom, by any standards a delight to behold. It's well worth taking a run out in the car to feast your eyes on what must surely be one of nature's great wonders a potent natural symbol signalling the end of winter heralding in the much anticipated spring, and hopefully a bumper almond harvest later in the year.
