Sixth annual sailing regatta in Torrevieja

On saturday the 27th of March El Parque de Naciones played host to the sixth miniature naval regatta, hugely popular annual event attracted hundreds of people who all gathered to watch a diverse collection of miniature craft skilfully captained by their owners all under the radio control. The collection included jet-skis, sailing yachts, ships, liners, tugs and boats. Great fun was had by both spectators and sailors alike. Contestants came from not only Torrevieja but also Santa Pola and Murcia. This event coincided with the 13th Free annual Exhibition of Model Ships held in the Sala de Exposiciones de Los Aljibes open until April 10th.
