Alicante Elche Airport has handled almost 4.2 million Passengers in the first 5 months of this year showing a 16% growth in passenger numbers on 2015. British travellers made up the bulk of the numbers with over half a million passengers using the facilities, which clearly demonstrates the continuing and increasing popularity of the Costa Blanca with the British as a place to live, visit family and friends or to use as a holiday destination.
